Rumor or not, it’s the logical next step for Apple. The power and screen of a 15” MacBook Pro in the package of an Air seems like the perfect machine for me. I’m surprised Apple still hasn’t dropped the optical drive in the MacBook Pro line, although I guess there’s a chance the 17” might still ship with one.
